LDA Research was set up by Lucy Doorbar in 2011, with the aim of providing first class, tailored qualitative research to clients in Cambridge. We specialise in the pharmaceutical and medical devices sector, because that’s where our expertise lies, and our team has a passion for creating innovative, cost-effective research services. We’re well-connected; we have a powerful network of associates who operate globally and our clients include design agencies, management consultants and health market research agencies.

Global Communication

We are constantly recruiting new medical market research participants which is why we are able to provide our Cambridge clients with eyes and ears across the globe. The LDA team is a tenacious bunch, which is why we’re so good at enlisting healthcare professionals to sit on our panels and hard-to-reach patients with rare or low prevalence diseases. Recent research projects include 50 minute tele-depth interviews on a new app for long-term oxygen therapy (LTOT), and 60 minute in depth interviews with patients and stoma nurses on a new stoma product.

Adaptable Methodologies

We believe in matching our research methodology to the needs of our Cambridge clients. If you feel that your research would benefit from a more interactive approach, or you’d like to introduce new technology, we’re more than happy to tailor our work to your requirements. Innovation requires a strong foundation to work from and we have huge confidence in our specialist moderators, who have all held senior research positions and/or have hands-on medical experience. We know that they will dig a little deeper, on clients’ behalf, in order to access valuable qualitative research.
